Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat

At your arrival time at the airport, we will welcome you and head towards Casablanca and then towards Rabat. In Casablanca, you will see the Hassan II mosque, the largest outside Mecca, and you will discover the coast “Of Cornwall”. Then we will leave for the Capital of Morocco, Rabat.
Here you will see the Hassan Tower and the Oudaya Kasbah before your registration in your riad. your accommodation will be in a riad in the heart of the medina.

Day 2: Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis – Fes

After breakfast in your riad, you will start traveling to Fez via Meknes and stop for a short time to see the Volubilis in Meknes, another important imperial city in Morocco. It is known as the Ismaili capital of Morocco, you will also visit the famous Bab Mansour gate, the Sahrij Souani basin, and the Moulay Ismail mausoleum. After lunch, your journey continues to Volubilis, the Roman ruins, dating from 25BC, where some of the original mosaics are still in very good condition, explore the site and continue to Fes through the foothills of the Rif Mountains. Arrive in Fes in the afternoon. Arrive at your riad in the heart of the medina, before dinner and evening.

Day 3: Explore Fes

After breakfast, you will be taken on a guided exploration tour of Fez, Morocco’s oldest city, walking through its alleys and small streets. Our visit begins with the door of the Royal Palace, the Jewish seat, the first Mellah in Morocco, built in the 16th century. We will make sure you visit all the sites of cultural and historical interest, including the famous Al Qaraouine University, the oldest in the area, the tanneries, the Attarine museum, and the Mulay Idriss Mausoleum. After lunch, you will visit the tiled cooperative, then enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the entire Fez medina. In the afternoon we will visit the new city “The New City” to have a drink before returning to your riad.

Day 4: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt (265 km)

After breakfast in your riad, we will leave Fes in the direction of Ifrane, a beautiful mountain village, called the «Switzerland of Morocco», then we will continue towards Midelt. During this trip, you will discover the mountains of the Middle Atlas and the High Atlas. When you stop at Azrou, a Berber village in the middle of the famous cedar forest, the largest in Morocco, you will see monkeys from Barbary. After a short stop in the forest, your journey continues to Midelt along the beautiful hills and mountains of the Atlas. There you will stay in your luxury hotel.

Day 5: Midelt – Errachidia – Ziz Valley – Merzouga (240 km)

After breakfast at your hotel, you will travel to Merzouga via Errachidia and Erfoud. You will travel through the fascinating Tiz-N-Talghamt Pass and Ziz Gorge, which overlooks the High Atlas plateau, you will notice how the landscape changes to reveal the desert tracks as you approach the city of Errachidia, Here you will have lunch and enjoy Berber hospitality. Then you will travel along the lush valley of Ziz, stopping to enjoy a panoramic view of the Erfoud and Rissani path. Arrival in Merzouga in the afternoon. We welcome you with a glass of mint tea before registering for your riad, before dinner and in the evening.

Day 6: Merzouga ( Desert journey )

After breakfast at your riad, you will be taken on an exploration trip of the area before the camel trek. the Gnawa people, the origin of slaves from Sudan, to experience their music and way of life. Not far from our location is Lake Merzouga, with its bird populations. You can also visit the nomadic yarn house where a lot of Berber crafts are cheaper than in the big cities. In the afternoon, you will ride your camel, guided by our experienced camel driver to explore the golden sand of the Merzouga Sea. Return for dinner in front of the tent, where you will spend the night. (the camp is equipped with flush toilets).

Day 7: Merzouga – Todra gorges – Dades

We wake up early in the morning and go on a camel trip to see the best sunrise of his life. You will return peacefully on camel back to the village of Merzouga. Along the way, I couldn’t help but appreciate the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi sand dunes, changing with the light that the day brings. After breakfast at the riad/ hotel, we will leave for Tinghir, via Rissani, and the gorges of Todra, the narrowest gorges of Morocco. After lunch in the heart of the gorge, we will cross the valley of Dades, where you will see the majestic sand castles and the incredible rock formations known as the “monkey’s toes”. We will spend the night in a luxury hotel overlooking the Dades valley.

Day 8: Dades Gorges – Bouthaghrart – Skoura – Ouarzazate

After breakfast at the hotel, we will cross the Dadès Valley towards Kalaa M’Gouna and Ouarzazate. The road through the Dadès Valley is the path of a thousand kasbahs that offer many opportunities to take some of your best photos of the trip. Today you will have the opportunity to meet the Berber nomads in their caves, then you will appreciate the fertile valley of the Rose and the rock formations along the way. We will stop at Kalaat M’Gouna, the «city of roses», to buy rose water, which will make your clothes smell good long after your trip. Continue to Skoura and the valley of birds; visit the Kasbah Ameridil, which is preserved kasbah in this region. After some walks in the valley, stop at a restaurant, overlooking the entire valley, for lunch. After lunch, we travel by car to Ouarzazate, «the Hollywood of Africa», whose geography and beautiful landscapes have attracted numerous world-class film producers. Spend the night in a local riad.

Day 9: Ouarzazate – Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou – Taroudant

After breakfast at your riad, we will head to Taroudant via Taznakht and visit Ait Benhaddou Kasbah. The first is the largest Kasbah in Morocco, it was built by T-Hami El Glaoui, one of the last Berber chiefs in the early twentieth century, which used to be one of his stops during his long journey from the Sahara to Marrakech., one of the UNESCO heritage sites. Continue towards Taliouine, the capital of Safran in Morocco, you have the option to visit the cooperative Safran. If your visit coincides with the harvest of the Safran, you will have the opportunity to meet the Berber people with their families harvesting the Safran in their fields. We must reach Taroudant in the afternoon, here you will see the walls and walk inside the small alleys of the Medina. Day 10: Taroudant – Agadir – Essaouira

After breakfast, we will cross Essaouira via Agadir. Our first stop will be in Agadir, a tourist city that has been a very important tourist destination for many years. After lunch and a short walk on the seafront, we will continue towards Essaouira. The coastal road offers beautiful scenery, a region famous for Argan trees, here we will see herds of goats climbing Argan trees in search of better food that they cannot find in the ground. After several stops along the coast, we arrive in Essaouira in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight in a riad.

Day 11: Essaouira Sightseeing

After breakfast at your riad, we will be on a guided tour to discover the city. You will visit the fortress of Skala, the port, and the souks, and see the wood of Thuya carved by artisans; stroll through the alleys of the medina and admire hundreds of handicrafts. Essaouira is known for its strong winds most of the year, which is why it is called the «Wind City» that attracts surfers from all over the world. Essaouira has many civilizations, including the Portuguese occupation, which affects much of its architecture, but it is still a small town with a lot of history.
