Itinerary: 8 Days Trip from Tangier to Marrakech

Day 1: Port of Tangier - Chefchaouen

We will pick you up from the port and then we will start our journey through the spectacular Rif Mountains towards Tetouan and along incredibly dramatic landscapes, then reach Chefchaouan, a splendid position under the raw peaks of the Rif, Chefchaouen is one of the most beautiful cities in Morocco, an artistic, blue-washed mountain village that feels like your world.
The old medina is a delight of Moroccan and Andalusian influence with red-tiled roofs, bright-blue buildings, and narrow streets that converge on the busy Uta el-Hammam square and its restored kasbah. Here you can spend a night in a beautiful accommodation with panoramic views that allows you to enjoy the breeze and the beauty of nature.

Day 2: Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes - Fes.

After your breakfast at the riad, our authentic journey will begin towards Volubilis crossing Ouazan and other villages of the Rif, in Volubilis we will discover the Roman ruins and learn about the archaeological site of Moroccan history, After visiting the ruins, we will change our way to the city of Meknes on the 17th-century heritage where we will stop for lunch and hang around the huge historic walls of the medina, Bab el Mansour and we will enjoy a visit to the sanctuary of Moulay Ismail. After the visit to Meknes, we will head directly to the city of Fez, where you will spend the night.

Day 3: Fes (Guided tour).

After breakfast in your riad, you will begin to explore the oldest city in Morocco, strolling through its narrow streets and alleys. Our tour begins with the door of the Royal Palace, the Jewish seat, the first Mellah ever built in Morocco, built during the 16th century. We will make sure to visit all the places of cultural and historical interest, including the famous Al Qaraouine University, the oldest in the region, the tanneries, the museum Attarine and the mausoleum Mulay Idriss. After lunch, you will visit the tile cooperative and then experience a magnificent panoramic view of the entire medina of Fes.

Day 4: Fez - Ifrane - Midelt - Ziz valley - Erfoud - Merzouga

After breakfast at your hotel, you will go to Merzouga via Errachidia and Erfoud. You will travel through the fascinating Tiz Ntalghamt Pass and the Ziz Gorges, admiring the view of the High Atlas plateau, you will notice how the landscape changes to reveal the scents of the desert as you approach the city of Errachidia, Here you will have lunch and enjoy Berber hospitality. Then you will walk through the lush Ziz Valley, stopping for a panoramic view of the Erfoud and Rissani roads. Arrival in Merzouga in the afternoon. You will be greeted with a glass of mint tea before starting your camel ride to spend a night on the desert ground with Berber music and sandboarding.

Day 5: Merzouga - Gorges of Toudgha - Dades Valley

We will get up early to watch the sunrise show on the Sahara dunes before making our way back on camels to the hotel for breakfast and a shower. We will cross the mountains of Saghro We will take a short walk through the gorges of Todra before arriving at Dades Valley for dinner and stay.

Day 6: Dades Valley - Valley of Roses - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou - High Atlas - Marrakech

After breakfast at the hotel, you will cross the Dades valley towards Kalaa M’Gouna and Ouarzazat. The road through the Dades valley is the path of a thousand kasbahs – offering many opportunities to take some of your best photos of the trip both in the pink valley and the city cinema of Ouarzazate passing by Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. Morocco’s largest kasbah, built by T-Hami El Glaoui, one of the last Berber chiefs in the early 20th century, was one of his stops on his long journey from the Sahara to Marrakech, now one of UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites. After that, we will change the way to cross the high atlas mountains full of panoramic views and charming Berber villages along the way to Marrakech.

Day 7: Visit to Marrakech

After breakfast in the riad, you can start exploring Marrakech «the red city of Morocco». We will make sure you see the most important sites of historical and cultural interest, including the Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Tower, the Saadian tombs, and the Bahia Palace. After lunch in a restaurant near the square, you will walk through the souks and see hundreds of handicrafts. In the afternoon, you will have free time to walk only in other parts of the city.

Day 8: Transfer to the airport

After breakfast, we will transfer you to the airport, End of the service.
